At BRAXTON COLLEGE, we want you to cherish every piece you receive. We understand that jewelry is personal — and sometimes, a piece may not be quite right, or it may need a little care over time. This policy outlines how we handle returns, exchanges, and the ongoing maintenance of your treasured items.

Our Return Promise

We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every item bearing the BRAXTON COLLEGE name. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund or exchange, subject to the conditions below.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as when you received it.

  • All original packaging, including the jewelry box, protective pouches, and any authenticity cards or tags, must be intact and included.

  • The item must be returned within 30 calendar days of the delivery date.

  • Custom-made, personalized, or engraved items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective.

How to Initiate a Return

Returning an item to BRAXTON COLLEGE is simple:

  • Visit our Returns Center on the BRAXTON COLLEGE website and log in to your account to initiate the return process.

  • Select the item(s) you wish to return and indicate the reason for your return.

  • Download and print the prepaid return shipping label provided.

  • Package your item securely in its original packaging, include the completed return form, and affix the label to the outside of the package.

  • Drop off your package at the designated shipping carrier location.

Once we receive and inspect your return, BRAXTON COLLEGE will process your refund or exchange within 5 to 7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned to BRAXTON COLLEGE:

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons) — unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

  • Custom-made or personalized pieces.

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance.”

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, BRAXTON COLLEGE recommends initiating a return for the original item and placing a new order for your desired piece. This ensures you receive your preferred item as quickly as possible. If you need assistance with sizing or product selection, our customer service team is here to guide you.

Damaged or Defective Items

At BRAXTON COLLEGE, we carefully inspect every piece before shipment. However, in the rare event that you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us immediately within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange for a free return and send you a replacement or issue a full refund as quickly as possible. Please include photos of the damage or defect when you reach out — this helps us address the issue and improve our quality control.

We believe that fine jewelry should last a lifetime and beyond. With proper care, your pieces from BRAXTON COLLEGE will retain their brilliance and beauty for years to come. Here are our recommended maintenance practices:

General Care Tips

  • Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping to prevent exposure to water, sweat, and physical stress.

  • Apply perfumes, lotions, and hair products before putting on your jewelry, as chemicals can dull the finish and damage certain gemstones.

  • Store each piece separately in its original pouch or a soft-lined jewelry box to prevent scratching and tangling.

  • Keep your jewelry away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

Cleaning Instructions

Gold and Silver Pieces: Gently polish with a soft, lint-free cloth to restore shine. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution with warm water, soak briefly, and gently brush with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean cloth.

Gemstone and Zircon Pieces: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemical solutions, as they may loosen settings or dull the stone’s luster.

Pearl Jewelry: Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth after each wear. Avoid soaking pearls in water or exposing them to acidic substances such as vinegar or lemon juice.

Bracelets and Chains: Check clasps and closures regularly to ensure they are secure. If a clasp feels loose, contact BRAXTON COLLEGE for repair advice.

Repair Services

At BRAXTON COLLEGE, we are committed to the longevity of your jewelry. Should your piece require professional attention — whether it is a broken chain, a loose stone, or a worn clasp — we offer repair services for items purchased from us.

  • Repairs are free of charge within the first 6 months of purchase for manufacturing defects.

  • After 6 months, or for damage caused by wear and tear, a reasonable repair fee may apply. We will provide you with a quote before any work begins.

  • To request a repair, please contact us at [email protected] with a description and photos of the issue. Our team will provide you with instructions on how to safely send your piece to our workshop.

Warranty

BRAXTON COLLEGE stands behind the quality of our craftsmanship. All our jewelry pieces are covered by a limited 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, including broken clasps, loose settings, and structural flaws. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, accidents, improper care, or unauthorized repairs. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us and we will evaluate the piece and provide a resolution.
